Rust Doctor Launches New Web Site, Offers On-Line Ordering and Rust Resources

January 15, 2002
Rust Doctor products were developed to stop rust on metal. By eliminating the need to remove rust from metal, rusty projects can be redone at less cost and more efficiently. The Rust Doctor web site includes extensive information on the causes of rust, how to deal with rust and links to other rust related web sites. One unique part of the site shows the ongoing restoration of a vintage ambulance. By returning to the site, each step of the restoration can be followed until it is completed. Rust Doctor products are being used throughout the restoration process.
Rust Doctor rust paint converts rust to magnetite, a very hard form of iron oxide. This creates a protective layer on the metal to protect it from further rusting. In addition, a heavy layer of clear primer remains on the surface to create an excellent surface for any kind of topcoat, including epoxies, urethanes and enamels. Rust Doctor can be applied with a brush, roller or sprayed. Because Rust Doctor is a water based latex product, clean up is done with soap and water.
Other Rust Doctor products are under development. These exciting additions to the Rust Doctor line of products include Grease Doctor a water based degreasing solution and Salt Doctor a solution for releasing salts and chemicals from metal surfaces. They will be available the second quarter of 2002.
All Rust Doctor products are available by calling the Always Sharp Tool Company at 1-800-460-6167 or visiting the Rust Doctor web site at www.TheRustDoctor.com
